How we keep LowKey a welcoming, respectful, and safe space for language learners worldwide.
Our Mission
LowKey exists to empower anyone in the world to practice speaking foreign languages with confidence. Speaking a new language takes vulnerability. We are committed to fostering a supportive, encouraging, and respectful environment where learners of all levels feel safe practicing aloud.
1. Be Kind, Patient & Encouraging
Language learners make mistakes—it is an essential part of learning. Never mock, belittle, or demean someone for their pronunciation, accent, grammar, or proficiency level. Provide constructive, kind feedback only when asked.
2. Prohibited Behaviors (Zero Tolerance)
Violations of the following rules will result in immediate suspension or permanent bans:
3. Tools to Protect Yourself

- Report Abusive Content: Tap the Flag/Report icon on any room, chat bubble, or user profile. Select the appropriate reason. Our human moderation queue reviews flags promptly.
- Mute Yourself: Keep full control of your microphone by using the mute toggle when not actively speaking.
